Pleural Plaques – House of Lords Judgement

On the 17^th October 2007 the House of Lords has had at last handed down its judgement in the Pleural Plaques test cases and decided that people who are diagnosed with Pleural Plaques – scarring of the lining of the lungs – can indeed no longer claim compensation for the condition.  The decision basically approves the earlier decision of the Court of Appeal in January 2007.
